🎯 LogiPulse Hackathon Pitch & Judge Demonstration Guide

Event: Tech Zephyr 4.0 — IIT Bhubaneswar
Track: Applied AI / Autonomous Business Operations
Team: Arkz

1. 30-Second Elevator Pitch

“Logistics pipelines fail not because trucks break down, but because routing systems are static. When unexpected disasters strike—monsoon floods, highway pileups, or fallen storm debris—legacy supply chains stall for hours waiting for manual human dispatchers. LogiPulse is an autonomous, self-healing crisis orchestrator. Driven by LangGraph and Google Gemini, it listens to driver voice transmissions, cross-verifies weather radar, autonomously executes mathematical bypass routing, and delivers formal stakeholder advisories with revised ETAs before human dispatchers even answer the phone.”

2. Step-by-Step Live Demonstration Script

Step Action on Screen Visual & Audio Feedback Speaker Talking Points
1. Standby Initial State Open http://localhost:5180 White & sky-blue dashboard loads. Map frames Point A (Chennai Port) and Point B (Oragadam). No paths or vehicles are drawn. Floating status pill: “Corridor Standby: Only Point A & Point B shown.” “Judges, notice the clean standby state: only Origin Point A and Destination Point B are pinned. The system avoids drawing assumptions until the operator initiates the mission.”
2. Phase 1 Route Creation Click “Phase 1: Calculate Route” Mechanical click SFX plays. Blue primary arterial illuminates. Carrier unit TRK-8821 appears and glides smoothly along the track. Telemetry card displays distance ($44.8\,\text{km}$) and ETA ($48\,\text{mins}$). “Clicking Phase 1 triggers real-time OpenRouteService query, mapping 400+ turn-by-turn highway coordinates and dispatching carrier TRK-8821 with zero jitter.”
3. Phase 2 Driver Voice Alert Click “Phase 2: Speak Driver Report 🎙️” & select sample phrase: “Emergency dispatch! Major container truck collision on Chennai Port Corridor near Maduravoyal, both lanes blocked!” Dual-tone dispatch siren plays. Gemini Flash parses the transmission: Category: ACCIDENT, Severity: CRITICAL. Pulsing red hazard zone renders on the road. The truck physically decelerates and halts. “Disaster strikes! The driver speaks in natural speech. Gemini dynamically extracts the crisis type—distinguishing accidents from floods or fallen trees. Notice how our carrier physically brakes and stops before the hazard.”
4. Autonomous Agent Action Click “AUTONOMOUS AGENT REROUTE & EMAIL STAKEHOLDERS” Terminal stream logs LangGraph Strategist reasoning: checks weather radar, calculates orthogonal normal bypass, and selects the Outer Ring Road (ORR Green Bypass). “Instead of stalling for hours, our LangGraph agent evaluates live radar, executes orthogonal detour math, and selects the next safe corridor in the hierarchy without looping back.”
5. Resolution & Stakeholder Dispatch Automatic transition (~1.2s) Harmonic success chime plays. Emerald green bypass corridor illuminates. The truck pivots onto the green bypass and drives safely to destination. “The delivery is saved with only a +8 minute delta. Under the Email tab, you can inspect the formal dispatch advisory autonomously sent to the warehouse manager and client.”

3. Dynamic Interactive Map Demonstration

To prove to judges that LogiPulse is 100% dynamic and not pre-recorded:

  1. Click “Reset Corridor Simulation”.
  2. Click “Origin (A)” at the top left of the map, and click anywhere on the world map.
  3. Click “Destination (B)”, and click another location on the map.
  4. Click “Phase 1: Calculate Route”: The agent calculates the highway path between those exact coordinates!
  5. Trigger Phase 2: The hazard dynamically snaps to the new route, and the bypass is calculated dynamically using orthogonal vector normal mathematics.

4. Anticipated Judge Questions & Technical Defenses

Q1: “How is this different from Google Maps or Waze rerouting?”

Answer: “Google Maps is a consumer navigation app for individual drivers. It does not possess agentic autonomy, cannot coordinate supply chain stakeholder advisories, cannot perform multi-sensor conflict resolution (such as diagnosing a broken water main when weather radar says 0mm rain), and cannot enforce corporate corridor escalation policies.”

Q2: “What happens if external APIs (OpenRouteService or OpenWeatherMap) go down or rate limit?”

Answer: “LogiPulse features an enterprise resilience fallback engine. If APIs fail, our client instantly engages geodesic Haversine Bezier interpolation and algorithmic weather heuristics. 100% of our 55 automated unit tests verify offline resilience.”

Q3: “How do you ensure the agent doesn’t get stuck in a rerouting loop if multiple bypasses are blocked?”

Answer: “Our LangGraph state machine enforces memory of blocked_corridors. The strategist filters candidates through an acyclic hierarchy, guaranteeing strict forward escalation without backtracking.”
